Semantic Web would help in structuring out this scattered data and enable programmers in carrying out sophisticated tasks. It is heralded as the future of the web and very rightly so, for it will completely change the face of the Internet that we know today. For the uninitiated, Semantic Web adds meaning to and simplifies the data available on the net.
